Below you will find answers to some of the questions we are most often asked.
ARE ALL YOUR INGREDIENTS ORGANIC?
Absolutely! Our goal is to offer our customers the finest quality, and therefore our list of ingredients demonstrates that commitment.
WHERE DO YOU BUY YOUR RAW MATERIALS?
At Frankly Juice, we believe in the power of locally sourced ingredients. That's why we prioritize working with farmers in Denmark and neighboring countries. We understand that some of our ingredients like ginger and chili may not be locally available, but we make sure to consider the environmental impact of their transportation to Denmark. We never use flight transportation and always use 100% organic ingredients. Trust us to bring you the freshest, healthiest, and most sustainable juice possible.
WHAT IS COLD PRESSING?
Cold-press juicing is the purest method of extracting juice from fruits and vegetables. By minimizing the oxidization process, it maintains the essential nutrients and live enzymes that make fruits and vegetables so healthy. The hydraulic press extracts every ounce of liquid while retaining the nutritious properties and flavors of your favorite fruits and vegetables. You are left with 400-600 gram of produce in each and every bottle.
HOW MUCH FRUIT AND VEGETABLES ARE USED IN EACH 20 ML OF JUICE?
Up to 600 gram of produce for each 250ml bottle
IS THERE ADDED SUGAR OR ANYTHING TO THE JUICE?
No! There are no added sugars in our juices.
WHY CAN THE JUICE VARY IN TASTE AND COLOR FROM TIME TO TIME?
Just like the produce you buy has natural variations, so do our juices! Tastes and colors may vary due to natural variations in the produce due to season. Prepare to be pleasantly surprised every time you savor one of our refreshing juices.
WHAT IS HPP TREATMENT?
HPP is our secret superhero! 'HPP' stands for 'High Pressure Processing' and is a high pressure treatment that helps keep our products durable and healthy. The HPP plant sends our juice on a cold journey through a chamber of water where it is exposed to high pressure. It sounds crazy, but it's actually just to inactivate potentially harmful pathogens and preserve the highest nutritional content. So you can take a sip of the juice with peace of mind and enjoy its full taste!
WHY IS MY JUICE SEPARATING?
It is completely natural for your juice to separate and only a sign that the juice is...well, natural. Separation is a process that occurs for raw, cold-pressed juice. As long as the juice is kept refrigerated and enjoyed before the expiry date, you can drink freely. Just give it a shake and enjoy the fresh taste!
WHY DON'T YOU USE GLASS BOTTLES? Isn't it better for the environment?
This is actually a common misconception. Glass is heavy and when it has to be transported and recycled, incredible amounts of resources are used, as large amounts of water and heat are required to disinfect it for recycling. But by using PET bottles, which are primarily made from recycled plastic and are completely recyclable, we can minimize our carbon footprint and still offer you a food-grade container to deliver nature's delights to you. The Danes are close to the best in the world at returning their bottles via the Danish Return System and this makes our plastic bottles the most sustainable packaging.
WHAT DO YOU DO WITH ALL THE EXCESS FRUIT AND VEGETABLES, CALLED PULP, AFTER PRESSING?
We use the excess pulp for innovative collaborations such as the one we have with Food People / Jalm & B; Their carrot buns are based on our carrot pulp. In addition, we collaborate with the company Rootly, which makes plant mince based on our beetroot pulp, etc. We are constantly working to utilize our excess fruit and vegetables in the best possible way and soon you will also experience beer brewed from our pulp and other exciting food and drinks .
